Myles Robert Sharples
Myles founded Focus Architects in 2023 after more than 15 years working across residential and commercial architecture in the UK. His career has taken him from small domestic extensions to large-scale mixed-use developments, giving him a breadth of experience that informs every project he leads.
Registered with both the RIBA and the ARB, Myles brings a rigorous, detail-led approach to design — one that balances aesthetic ambition with practical delivery. He is a strong believer in the value of direct client relationships and takes personal responsibility for every project that passes through the studio.
Outside the studio, Myles is a keen advocate for sustainable design and community-led architecture, regularly contributing to local planning consultations and design review panels across Shropshire.

We are a small, dedicated studio. When you work with Focus Architects, you work directly with our principal ARB / RIBA chartered architect from the first conversation to the final handover.
