 Focus Architects is a chartered RIBA | ARB architects practice located in Shropshire specialising in grand design homes for over a decade. 

We believe that everyone at some point plays the role of architect designing and navigating the many complicated decisions that comprise modern day life. 

The studio works across multiple sectors and is renowned for its inclusive design-led approach, which places an emphasis on collaboration between the client, architect, and construction team.

At Focus, the belief is that architectural design is not only about the technical aspects of the build, but also the impact on the users and the surrounding environment. This is why as a team we strive to create projects that not only meet the client's needs, but also take into account the wider context in which they are situated.

The practice places great importance on the project invention and inception phase, recognizing that this is where the most important decisions are made that will shape the outcome of the project. Myles Robert Sharples is a chartered architect and the founder of Focus Architects 

As a member of both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Architects Registration Board (ARB), Myles has over 15 years of experience working with reputable practices across the UK. His expertise extends to various sectors, including domestic refurbishment, grand design homes, sports pavilions, visitor centres, and specialist primary healthcare facilities.

Myles has a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for material honesty and local context, which inspired him to return to his hometown of Shropshire. 

Over the past five years, he has led numerous notable projects, earning a reputation for delivering innovative design solutions within complex project constraints. With his resilient and commercially tested professionalism, coupled with a genuine passion for architecture and design, Myles is able to offer clients exceptional service and expert advice.
